Harvest Profit launches enhanced integration with Climate FieldView™

We are excited to announce that Harvest Profit recently launched an enhanced integration with Climate FieldView™.

The first phase of the integration provided mutual customers the ability to connect their accounts and transfer fields and boundaries from FieldView to their Harvest Profit account. New functionality now provides the option to also transfer their as-applied data (planting, spraying, harvest).

We are laser-focused on giving our customers better visibility into the financial side of their farming operation. Better visibility opens the door to taking more control of their financial outcome by enabling more confident, proactive business decisions on the farm.

Mutual customers can now import their as-applied rates of seed, fertilizer, and chemical from FieldView into their Harvest Profit accounts. Harvest Profit then matches those rates to per unit prices to automatically calculate per-field and per-unit cost of production and profitability.

“We are excited to be able to partner with Climate FieldView on this integration.”, says Nick Horob, the founder of Harvest Profit. “We understand the importance of farms using agronomic data to make better decisions and that’s difficult without understanding the financial piece of that puzzle. FieldView does a great job helping our farmers capture that data and we’re excited to be able to turn it into financial insights for our customers.”

FieldView provides customers with a broad set of tools, services and data insights, while also making it easier to connect their farms to the digital tools of their choice.

“Our primary focus is to deliver new agronomic insights and recommendations to our customers through data science,” said John Raines, chief commercial officer for The Climate Corporation. “The FieldView platform also makes it easier for users who choose to connect with innovative companies like Harvest Profit as they seek to maximize return on every acre and mitigate financial risk.”
